Class Descriptions: Classes Combine all the fundamentals of Street Dance, such as Hip Hop, Break, Popping, Locking, Waving, Sliding, Liquid etc. Breaking, also known as "B-boying" or "B-girling" by its practitioners and followers, is a dynamic style of dance that is part of Hip Hop culture emerged out of the Hip-Hop movement in the South Bronx of New York City during the late 20th century. Breaking is one of the many elements of Hip Hop culture. The unique form of dancing is very acrobatic and creative. Break has been performed in countless shows, music videos on MTV and at dance clubs. A VERY impressive dance style. The starting point for all young budding dancers is to enrol in our classes. All of our street & Break students get the opportunity to enter into competitions throughout the year, and we are always on the lookout in all street classes for the next talented student to become a member of ANSD Crew & The North Tyneside Bboys.

All classes on our Timetable are exam classes, pupils will be trained and entered for Dance Examinations twice per year.

Anyone not wishing to participate in examinations, please attend classes marked with a * only.

Adults wishing to participate in examinations may do so, please speak to your class Instructor who will advise you further.

Private Tuition is available in all Subjects at a cost of Â£35.00 per hour, for up to 2 people.
