Amanda Nicole School of Dance run Ofqual Accredited Grades in Ballet
and Tap. (Any Credits and Points accumulated before the age of 14 will be recorded and entered onto the learners number once it is issued) UCAS points are issued from Grade 6-8. Credits and UCAS points are as follows:
Grade One - Three - 7 Credits per Grade Class Description:A style in which the rhythm is sounded out by the clicking taps on the heels and toes of a dancers shoes. Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers are typically associated with this style of dance, although more modern groups such as the Tap Dogs have re-vamped this traditional style of dance.
Teeny Tap: This class introduces little ones to basic tap technique, whilst encouraging confidence, and trains students for basic tap examinations.
Junior Tap: This class trains students in tap techniques for graded examinations, and prepares students for study at vocational level.
Adult Tap: This class is for fun, general dance development and fun. |

All classes on our Timetable are exam classes, pupils will be trained and entered for Dance Examinations twice per year.
Anyone not wishing to participate in examinations, please attend classes marked with a * only.
Adults wishing to participate in examinations may do so, please speak to your class Instructor who will advise you further.
Private Tuition is available in all Subjects at a cost of £35.00 per hour, for up to 2 people.
